Prepare Now for the Spring Nuclear Outage Season

In the Spring of 2020, from January through May, there will be a need for hundreds of carpenters to work nuclear plant outages.  In Florida there is the opportunity to work two outages back-to-back: St. Lucie is the first outage, followed by Turkey Point.

Credentials needed include a scaffold card, OSHA 10 card and a red badge. If you have never been in a nuclear plant and are interested in getting a red badge, please contact Joseph Stevens at jstevens@flcrc.com or 305-803-9491, or contact the Local 1809 office at 305-570-1929.

NOW would be a great time to get your red badge.

Also, please check your training card to see if your scaffold and OSHA cards are up to date. If not, please schedule the needed training. Click here to find a training center near you.

The spring outage season will be here before we know it. Don't let a 40-hour scaffold class or 8-hour refresher course keep you out of a nuclear plant this spring. Take steps now to be ready for this coming work.
