Florida Democratic leaders were welcomed to the Orlando offices of the Florida Carpenters Regional Council recently for a roundtable discussion that featured Democratic National Committee chair Tom Perez. Council Executive Secretary-Treasurer James Banks participated in the discussion, which included developing strategies to increase voter turnout, especially among Hispanics. 

“The Florida Carpenters Regional Council is honored to be the host of this all-important event. We view our role in the community as one of inclusiveness and activism that benefits all citizens. Our doors are always open to promote positive dialogue among our legislative and community leaders,” Banks said.
